What is the name of this button?

Just lost a button on the front of a thrifted J Crew blazer. It looks like wood, cracked, and bulbous.

Could it be leather instead of wood?  Google "woven leather button" and see if the pics that show up look the same.

I don't know what they are called, but they are meant to look like they are made out of leather.

It sounds hollow when I knock on it, but I did google the name, plansrme, and it looks exactly like it. Mine are probably made to look like leather. But at least I now know where to start. I’m so very awful at sewing. I almost want to get a tailor to replace all 5 with the leather ones but it’ll probably cost more than the blazer. People always say that buttons make a huge difference on clothes. And I really like the woven look.

Yes, these buttons usually IME aren't really made out of leather, they are wood or plastic. But they are meant to look like leather.

Try "woven leather button" or "domed woven button" or "domed wood woven button".  An eBay search turned up many options.

I'd call that a leather shank button.

JoAnns Fabric usually has buttons like that. I have no idea what they are called!

 Don't you dare get a tailor to sew on BUTTONS!  Easiest thing in the world.  Can you thread a needle?  If so, you can sew a new button exactly where the original buttons were.  I'm sure there's a YouTube video.  Or 20.

I found a few on Etsy; the original buttons are 23mm or 7/8". Thanks everyone for helping with this! I was planning to ask strangers IRL, but you guys are amazing.
