DD made an eggnog cheesecake for Christmas, and it got left out of the fridge last night - just found it. Can we still eat it? House is in the mid 70's temp wise. Probably between 74 and 76.

My first thought was I wouldn't serve it, but then I remembered that I have left cream cheese sitting out overnight to soften, so maybe it would be okay.  I am usually very cautious about this stuff, but I think I would put it in the refrigerator and eat it.

Ugh, I hate the thought of throwing out cheesecake, but I would not eat it.  Based on your post's time stamp and knowing you are in EST, that cake was at 70+ room temp for over 12 hours, right?   I am usually ready to eat stuff others say to throw out, but I wouldn't risk that.
