😂 Did you try to disguise it? Like, wrap a flag around the end, or wrap a lantern on top and see if anyone thinks it is a miniature streetlight for the yard?

Like the kind to saw tree limbs? I’ve done that! I had to hide it under the couch...😂

I wrapped a bo staff that way once.  It came in a tube, so I wrapped it in striped paper to look like a candy cane.  It also went under the couch.

It looks like a mophead on the pole because the way the saw and clipper are encased in plastic. I'll let dh think I got him a new mop...

When my daughter was young we gave her a rainbow colored umbrella with a handle. I had the same idea as you, klmama. It made a lovely oversized candy cane.

We wrapped an IKEA stuffed shark in tissue paper one year. He was sooooo cute under the tree!
