Good update on my house fiasco

Well, it never  was about our house.....it was about the seller running into an issue with the mortgage company trying to collect about $500 above what the pay off statement stated.  The bank cleared it and paid the mortgage off in full. Since Dh and I had decided to pay it, it is a big relief  to us to not have to come up with that extra money.
