wintermom Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 I'm ahead, too. I'm doing Day 16 before Day 15! 😄 5 best habits: 1. Spending time with my family 2. Maintaining friendships - just a few key ones is all I have time and energy for, but they are so important to me 3. Staying curious and continuously trying to learn and achieve new things 4. Staying active and helping my family have positive physical activity habits and pursuits 5. Supporting music in the whole family (through lessons, our own playing in public, attending live performances) 2 Quote
Denise Still in Florida Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 5 Best habits 1) Reading every day. 2) Ongoing education. Both in traditional classrooms for Continuing Education requirements and through informal groups and podcasts. 3) Composting - I try to lead a low waste lifestyle including reduce, reuse, recycle but the biggest change in the quantity of trash at the curb has come from composting. 4) Daily prayer 5) Emptying and cleaning my kitchen sink every night (thank you FlyLady). It makes such a difference in my morning attitude. 2 Quote

Guest Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 My five best habits: 1. I am very future-oriented and always strive to make things better, to be better, to learn new things, to discover and create. 2. I am an early riser and I am protective of my sleep. 3. I make good food for my family and myself. I have good eating habits and my family does, too. 4. I have good household routines that go a long way to keeping my home neat. I think we exist in that sweet spot between imperfect enough to live comfortably but nice enough to not fear unexpected company. 5. I am frugal. I’m not inclined to spend money on status symbols or trying to look a certain way. (I mean, I aim to look nice, but I don’t mind a bargain; I don’t try to stay on the cutting edge of fashion.) We have no consumer debt, mostly because dh and I are on the same page with that and have always been. Quote
