lovinmyboys Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 What games were your favorite you played in 2019? I would say ours are: Codenames Pictures Chameleon Cahoots (by gamewright) Catan (my 7yr old is currently obsessed) Exploding Kittens Dominion prosperity expansion In the last few weeks we have been playing lots of Letters to Santa and Dutch Blitz. This year I am thinking of keeping track of the games we play, so I actually know which we played most. 1 Quote

lovinmyboys Posted December 16, 2019 Author Posted December 16, 2019 We have castles of burgundy and kingdom builders and have never played. I’ll put them on the top of the list to learn in 2020. 1 Quote

There are a lot of components. Once we actually played it, it was much easier to play than it seemed. Quote

BlsdMama Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 1901! This has become the new favorite around here currently. (Soon to be replaced by Wingspan at Christmas, I think.) Nothing is ever going to top Agricola for me. We play Duel a lot. (Like over 300 times last year since we got it - we keep a running tally of wins/losses. I realize that makes us look crazy competitive, so be it.) Quote

Farrar Posted December 17, 2019 Posted December 17, 2019 Probably the biggest new to us hits here were the escape room games from Thames and Kosmos called Exit: The Room. There are a bunch of them. I think we played three or four. We really like them. They're cheap (which is good because you utterly destroy them as part of the process of "escaping") and brand new each time. We actually tried a couple of other escape room brands, but these are the best in our opinion. Also, the gods expansion pack for 7 Wonders Duel got a ton of use. BalletBoy and I adore 7 Wonders Duel - we play it both with and without the expansion a good bit. 1 Quote
