From BoredPanda (the photos in the post are funny) https://www.boredpanda.com/ikea-sharks-doing-human-things/

“But the Swedish furniture brand had more plans for Blåhaj. The toy just became a part of its Let's Play! campaign. Allow me to elaborate. Highlighting that a home can also be a playground, IKEA is spending nearly two months showing that everyone can build play into each day and it can be "as easy as, well, child's play!" Naturally, the beloved Blåhaj got an important role in the campaign.

"Instead of a single kids play area, we’ve sprinkled our stores with several special children’s activities during Let’s play!" IKEA wrote in a statement. "One of them is Shark Trails, a fun treasure hunt in which our BLÅHAJ soft toy – and limited-edition baby shark version – are hidden all over the store. So grab a map and pop a mark on it each time you spot one of these iconic plush toys."

Wanting to become a part of this, clients have been joining in the fun as well. People are rearranging the plushies at IKEA stores, making their shelf lives much more interesting.”

My kids are OBSESSED with the new ikea baby shark and they all are awaiting their Christmas money gifts so they can buy one

DS14 has the Blåhaj shark for ages and refused to let us buy him a new one to replace his worn out/deflated one.

My kids were having fun singing baby shark at IKEA while holding the baby shark. The new baby shark is adorable and affordable at $4.99 https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/blahaj-soft-toy-shark-00455236/

I am also eyeing the GENOMBLÖT Soft toy, dolphin, 11 ¾ " at $2.99 https://www.ikea.com/us/en/p/genombloet-soft-toy-dolphin-50442374/

My two big kids both have the large shark.

If anyone is aware of the Big Mac index... here's another example.  That very same baby shark on the American ikea website for 4.99.... costs $14 US dollars here in Switzerland.  😂

ugh - I JUST put a moratorium on stuffed animals - why now is there a baby shark?

Sigh.

Although, just found out my mom sent christmas money, and am considering getting another Ikea Kallax Ikea has been less fun since DS was diagnosed as Celiac - no more chocolate cake. But maybe hunting sharks would make up for it.

Verry yummy gluten free chocolate cake mix, frosting is yummy, too.  You can use alternate oils, too.  Coconut and palm oil are good choices for sweet things.

The frosting:

Whole Foods usually has them, and usually grocery stores with good gluten free/organic sections.

Thank you - we've found a few great cake mixes and recipes, so we have goodies at home for him but he always looked forward to the giant cake slice there after shopping, and the meatballs, which he can't have either anymore 😞

So now we just skip the food section.
