which level of explode the code?

He can read silent E words easily, heck he reads most things easily! But could use more work on vowel teams - so is there a level that starts with those? He knows sh, ch, th, so don't need the consonant digraphs, definitely ready for vowel teams.

My guess is book 3. It begins with silent e words. Maybe check the table of contents to see if the rest of it is doable for him. There are vowel teams toward the end of the book.

The old Open Court starts with long vowels and vowel teams, you could work through the blue and then orange workbooks, they are online to print.
