Blah. I hate teeth troubles. I'm dealing with crown drama myself (from a broken tooth/root canal).

I chipped my molar last month on Friday night and went to any dentist that was opened on Saturday for a temporary filing/capping. Monday my kids’ regular dentist was able to squeeze me in for a root canal treatment before my radiation treatment starts. So made three trips, one for root canal, one for temporary crown and one for permanent crown.

The temporary crown could have been done with the root canal treatment but the dentist wanted me to check with my radiation oncologist before doing any further dental treatments.

Hopefully your regular dentist can see you soon or he/she could recommend someone equally proficient. My dentist is only closed today and on Sundays. Any chance yours might be open for business as usual tomorrow?

Yes, do call to get some pain meds!  They may be able to work you in as an emergency on Friday.

I feel ya. I had a root canal and then, at the crown appt, the dentist said the tooth was actually cracked too much and a crown wouldn't work after all. They pulled it. All that angst just to have it pulled.
