teachermom2834
First experience with the SAT here. Scores for the Nov test are scheduled to be released today. He logged in and saw that his scores are “pending” and should be available within a week. Is this normal? I realize I could dive into College Confidential and find and answer but I would probably come away in a panic about something. Haha. I’m not worried enough to head over there but thought someone here would know what is up with that message. Thanks.
EKS
Pending here too. When this happened last time, my son's scores were released by the early afternoon, IIRC. We're on the west coast. I seriously don't understand why they can't release the scores all at once.
teachermom2834
Thanks. It is annoying to expect to see them (all info said today was the day) and then see a message that the scores should be in within a week. My boys have taken many ACTs. Only one time were the scores not available on the first day and those came later in the day.
teachermom2834
Well it posted around 5:30 EST. It was not worth the wait 🙁 ah well...back to the ACT.
teachermom2834
He did well. Really a very good score. Just a little lower than his ACT. He is shooting for a very high score for top automatic aid at our state flagship and it just might be out of reach for him. Which is OK. He is a great student and will do just fine and his scores are not anything I would ever be discouraged by. He’s close enough to a top score to give it a good shot but it just might not be in the cards for him. But his scores are great and none of us can be too upset about them.

linders
Posted early here. Very happy dance. Exceeds (by a fair amount) the standard for the top automatic merit scholarship for any school in our state.
