frogger
My 12 year old wants to learn German. He has been working away at Duolingo but I'm looking for someone fluent to teach him actual conversation, etc. I will not be learning with him as I do not know the language at all, would probably mess him up, and definitly slow him down. Grammar excercises are easy enough to do out of a book. What I want is more tutoring especially for speaking. Has anyone used Berlitz before as an online program? I see past threads about books and such but I'm more interested in tutoring or an online program he can work on without me.
Trilliumlady
No answer for you, but interested to know if anyone has an opinion!
Ausmumof3
Check out the Busuu app as well. They have conversation response questions where you record your answers and native speakers give you corrections. In return you provide some corrections to people learning English. Maybe not a complete solution but it could help a bit.
