mamakelly
I'm using Veritas Press Self Paced Old Testament- Greece and Rome. I'm looking for some supplemental stuff for that time period, since this is all on the computer. Maybe projects, writing assignments or ? Any good suggestions? HomeAgain
If you can find them, Learning Through History magazines are fabulous and concise. Each focuses on a specific culture or time period with articles, activities, and reading suggestions outside of the magazine. The articles come with discussion questions that can be used as writing prompts, too. I have the Ancient Rome issue, but there's an Ancient Greece one as well. They're out of print but I've seen them around the web at used booksellers like Abebooks. If you cannot find them, Classical Kids: An Activity Guide To Life In Ancient Rome And Greece is still in print and chock full of similar things but all in one book. Don't be put off by the title. It's written for about a 5th grade level of reading and activity.
Farrar
I liked the Kaleidescope series better than the Classical Kids book... but it's going to depend on the age - while the reading level is on for a 5th grader, the projects felt younger to me than the Kaleidescope series. They have one for Greece and another for Rome.

We have some of their science based ones and loved them for early middle school.
