happy to be back home in my own bed after another weekend of tent camping!

  • 5 classes
  • hs girls
  • NAPPPPP (so much sleep deprivation this weekend after just getting somewhat caught up from last weekend)
  • finish scout agenda
  • text scout parents
  • breakfast, lunch, & cook my dinner (dd1 is cooking family dinner- I will share the marina meat sauce but have red lentil rotini and roasted veggies with mine)
  • Troop meeting
  • catch up on budget (if time and energy)

The list seems short, maybe I'm forgetting something, I need an easy day anyway, we'll see if I remember something else.

  • laundry
  • pay bills
  • tutor 2 students
  • small amount of school with ds (probably after dd leaves)

  • laundry - going to tackle the laundry piles in the boys' rooms
  • water plants - forgot to do this yesterday and some of them are looking sad

Good morning! ds3 is still not feeling well. He's pretty tough usually, so when he says he feels terrible, I tend to believe him. I guess we will see how the day goes on.

Last day of fall break for dd2.

  • coffee/paper
  • check to do list on calendar
  • mail package to ds1- must do today
  • clean up a little
  • work in basement
  • kitchen
  • wipe down bathrooms
  • school with ds3 if he feels better
  • probably not too much else
  • easy dinner- soup?

Have a great day!

Howdy!  Kinda wish it wasn't Monday, but nobody asked my opinion!  So happy Monday!

Off to a halfway decent start, except that I had set about 20 alarms with the idea of waking up early and working.  I also left my light on all night (unintentionally).  So sleep-wise, I am probably not at my best.  But oh well.

Done:

  • Reviewed math homework - looks like 100%, yay!
  • Kids off to the school bus on time, yay!
  • Cleaned the kitchen, bathrooms, and some clutter.
  • 2 loads of laundry washed so far.
  • Texted kids' driver re week's schedule.
  • Fed the bird.
  • Paid bills, made cash transfers etc. so I'm financially up to date (I think).
  • Checked school stuff.
  • A little reading.
  • Wearing my posture brace.
  • Caught up on emails, news, social media.

To do:

  • Prioritize client work and do it.
    • At least 1 time sensitive wire transfer.  Need to review documents in that regard before doing it.
    • At least 1 conference call.  Need to prepare (background info) but probably will not talk.
    • Review and edit/update application (probably about 20 pages).
    • Some accounting reports.
    • Call IRS if I get time.
    • Work on organizing so I don't let anything fall through the cracks.
    • Whatever else gets done.
  • 2 more loads of laundry (& process the ones already washed).
  • Chiropractor appointment.
  • Kids' stuff - music practice, math test study, literature reading, spelling homework, probably other stuff.
  • Kid 2 has a clarinet lesson.
  • Run with Kid 1 a bit?
  • Figure out dinner.
  • Maybe make some plans re AHG, maybe work on switching to "new(er)" computer.
  • If any time is left over, would love to do some decluttering!

Back from the vet. She thinks it's a muscular injury. Pooch got pain meds and a laser treatment, ate his b'fast and is napping.

Got two parts of ds's Halloween costume.

Finished school with ds.

Next up: make dinner, paperwork and tutoring prep.

Survived the chiropractor, halfway through the conference call (which was an hour earlier than I thought), set up the wire transfer, and put the 4th load in the washer.

Still so much to do, but the stress level should hopefully be lower ... except now the boss is here so ....

Survived the conference call, which ended up being over an hour long.

What should we have for dinner?  My kids hate everything I like, if that helps.  😛  Pizza day is tomorrow.

Maybe I will get the kids to negotiate with each other and with the housemate who likes feeding people (who is here right now).  If everyone is polite (that would be new), maybe they will come up with an idea to order in from a restaurant or something.  My kids do know how to cook, but they are lazy as heck.  😛

Back from the vet. Winry had to have a biopsy of a sore bump on her stomach, but the vet thinks it is most likely just an inflamed tick bite.

Sorted through mail and opened UPS boxes - tea, spices, and a few misc. things from Amazon.

Vacuumed up a few million Asian lady beetles - ugh! This happens every fall when the soybeans get harvested. Swarms of these stinky little bugs try to get into any building they can find to spend the winter. Dh is very allergic to them, so I have to be diligent about getting rid of them.

I'm going to start dinner now. This recipe is kind of labor intensive, with a lot of chopping and roasting, plus making a plant-based blue cheese dressing, so I'm going to get an early start.
