lauraw4321 Posted October 14, 2019 Share Posted October 14, 2019 Two posts in one day! I was trying to tell my DH about a quote I had read recently, but I couldn't remember the exact wording. It was something along the lines of "The greatest ruse of mankind is convincing men to die for the concept of the state." The only place I could think that I may have read it is in the novel Pachinko, maybe as the leading text before a new chapter? But that could be completely wrong. I tried looking at famous quotes about war, with no luck. I googled and googled, and couldn't find it. Does this ring a bell with anyone? TIA.
