EKS
At the moment, my son's top choice is University of Wisconsin - Madison. I am interested in hearing about anyone's recent experiences applying as a homeschooler as well as with attending the school itself.
RootAnn
@Selkie had a 2017 acceptance @Heather in WI had a 2018 acceptance @FuzzyCatz's DS got in this past application cycle. I'm not sure where they chose to go as I didn't check the acceptance threads from 2017 & 2018.
8filltheheart
IIRC, they are not generous with aid for OOS students and don't offer much in terms of merit $$. (not sure whether that info is helpful or not.)

easypeasy
My daughter has a friend who is starting there this year and my son has a friend who is also starting this year. So, a year too early to be of any help to you, but it's funny to see it mentioned here after just learning that these friends chose WISCO (both are from different states and OOS from Wisconsin). Selkie
My ds was accepted there, but ended up choosing a different UW school - one that has an excellent engineering program and costs a fraction of what Madison does. Madison has gotten so expensive! It is a great college town, though. I went there 30 years ago, and we still visit often.
