cintinative
I bought a mock trial from TpT. The topic is living wage. This is for an Economics class at co-op. I still think the subject is relevant and worth addressing, but we just don't have enough class time (or students) to do a full mock trial. I didn't realize we needed four class periods to run it. I only have fourteen weeks for the entire class. I am hoping to confine this to two weeks at the most. One week would be fine. Do you have any suggestions? I am okay with completely scrapping the mock trial but I do want to cover this somehow, and preferably in a fun, interactive way. ETA: I found this. https://www.econedlink.org/resources/minimum-wage-the-challenge-of-living-on-it/ I don't know that it would enable me to use what I already have, but it is already put together. LJPPKGFGSC
I have found many of the TpT "teacher-authors" to be very responsive. Perhaps you can contact the person who produced the packet and ask for suggestions for how to make the activity shorter?
