Suggestions for High School Anatomy and Physiology?

Hello!  I'm looking for suggestions for a textbook for a class I'm teaching to three 11th-12th graders this fall.  I taught them biology last year (using Holt McDougal's Biology by Nowicki) and they loved it.  We're planning on doing one semester of anatomy and physiology before moving on to chemistry.

So far, I've seen two good options: (1) Hole's Essential's of Human Anatomy and Physiology (I see that's used in the WTMA class; anyone know why they use an old edition?); and (2) Pearson's Essentials of Anatomy and Physiology by Martini and Bartholomew.

I liked the online component of the Holt McDougal Homeschool biology book we used.  That would be a plus.  Mostly, we just want a clear text, appropriate for an advanced high school level.  It could be secular or religious as long as it has an evolutionary viewpoint.

Does anyone have experience with either of these books, or another?  Even if your child has used one in a co-op or dual-enrollment situation, I'd love to hear.  Thank you!

in an online class taught by a PA through Landry Academy several years ago. They also used an A&P coloring book.

My son used Essentials of Human Anatomy and Physiology by Elaine N. Marieb (10th ed.) in his Human Anatomy & Physiology course. (I believe this text is now in its 12th edition currently.) It was taught by Kerrie Childress at Excelsior Classes. The text is published by Pearson. I didn't do it for this A&P text, but in the past I was able to register as an instructor with Pearson and then had access to their online supplemental resources.

I know a few IRL folks who used PAC Anatomy and Physiology.  I've no first hand experience, so can't give a review

I also know some folks who used Apologia The Human Body.  Again, no personal experience.

A number of online course providers use older editions because they are significantly less expensive, yet the info is still accurate.

I used that book, along with the workbook, when I taught anatomy and physiology a few years ago.  I used the 4th edition, and it was really cheap and easy to find.  The book was clear and readable at a high school level.  I was very pleased with it, and we had a great time in the class!
