Amp
We did Dancing Mat last year with my 7th grader so I'm looking for something different this year. I see Typing Pal is on Homeschool Buyers Co-op for up to 5 students so I'm leaning toward that. Any other suggestions?

knitgrl
We use typingclub.com, which is also free, and has a teacher component so you can check progress and make assignments. It also has fun graphics.
purpleowl
My girls are using Typing Instructor for Kids. I can't remember the specific edition, but it allows for multiple students (I can check, if you'd like). They have not learned proper typing skills before this and they seem to be enjoying it (have been using it for a couple of weeks).
EKT
We also use and love Typing Club!
EmilyGF
BBC typing for the 4th grade. Free, fun, effective (at least for my kids).
fourisenough
After completing Dance Mat typing, my kids moved onto NitroType to build speed and fluency. Free, fun, five-minute daily practice made them very proficient typers after just several months.
SarahNN
My kids, 9yo and 12yo, really like typingclub.com, and it is free!!
workingmom
Does typing club charge later after a certain time. We signed up for typing club two weeks ago and then yesterday it was saying pay for membership? I thought the entire program can be free

We have had a lot of success with this program. It is well structured, easy to track their progress, and it is linked to some fun games. Our oldest is also enjoying the beginning programming lessons.
