madteaparty
Besides price, that is. 8th edition is under $10, 9th is over $100. I don't need to penny pinch but was wondering what vast improvements justify the difference? Very many thanks
MamaSprout
I would say probably not much difference. You can compare whatever open library has with the "look inside" for the 9th edition. At a glance, though, it doesn't look that different from the Volume II Western Civ 8th edition I have on my shelf. Page numbers are slightly different. I only see subtle differences between it at my 6th edition of World History (Duiker), and it's because Duiker has an extra focus question.
