pitterpatter
I just saw these for the first time in Rainbow Resource's new color catalog. I'm intrigue. Has anyone used them? https://www.artinhistory.com/ Edited June 19, 2019 by pitterpatter

pitterpatter
I thought they were neat. I'm really drawn to the Civil War Face Jug for some reason. Lol. Unfortunately, Rainbow Resource doesn't carry it. DD received a Dollar Tree paint-your-own pottery frog bank as a party favor not too long ago. She did a nice job painting it. I'm wondering whether she might like to do one or two of these as a supplement to her US History studies this year. (She's at camp, so I can't currently ask her.) I also wonder whether any of the museums in St. Louis carries them, as I already placed and received my Rainbow Resource order for the season. Maybe I'll e-mail the Art in History people and see.
knitgrl
I have worked in a public library, and painting objects is nearly always a hit. It doesn't matter if it's a pre-made plaster doo-hickey from Walmart or a rock. Kids just like painting stuff.
