PeterPan
This got mentioned by the author on another list, and I thought it was kind of thought provoking. So she (Melissa Stewart) is saying the research is showing about 40% of kids prefer non-fiction anyway and that we should amp our use. The categories (browsable, active, traditional, expository literature, and narrative) are interesting. She has a longer book on the topic coming out in 2020 and has written a bunch of beautiful children's non-fiction books I'm excited to explore. https://www.melissa-stewart.com/img2018/pdfs/5_Kinds_of_Nonfiction_SLJ_May_2018.pdf
