ExcitedMama
My DS had never typed so I was excited about having him do the Mickey Typing Adventure because I thought he’d find it fun and motivating. He does love the format and games but somehow in just a few weeks of doing it a couple of times a week he finished it. Of course I paid for a year in advance thinking it would take a long time. There are settings to change but I guess it just tweaks the difficulty and has him do it over. I think I need to get something else. Any recommendations? 73349
BurningCargo.com is free and saves your progress. DS likes it. No way could somebody finish it in a really short time like that.

pitterpatter
DD has been using Typing Club for the past two years. It's free and has a ton of lessons. She's not even close to finishing them all. Edited May 25, 2019 by pitterpatter
ExcitedMama
Thanks so much! I can’t believe there are so many great options for free! Clearly I should have asked before buying one!
kristin0713
If he likes Mickey's Typing Adventure, have him play the games for practice. My DD mastered typing in a couple of months using that program. She finished it very quickly as well, but I had her play the games a few times a week and it really did continue to improve her skills.
