Who’s going to tackle Sunday with me?

Recommended Posts

Return home from my folks' house.

Catch up on social media, news, emails.

Go to sleep.

Get the kids up to take showers and wash hair.

Church - there is a breakfast and then my kids have to be acolytes.

Kids - lots of homework and test study.

Me - lots of client work.

Laundry.

Whatever else gets done.

Good morning!

Back from the city. Dd enjoyed the trip, and I am thankful (as always) to live somewhere free of crowds, traffic, and long waits for everything. I'm not going anywhere today if I can help it!

  • put away laundry
  • straighten up garage
  • need to go through some financial things w/dh
  • get an Amazon return ready to go
  • order a refill for horse meds from compound pharmacy
  • order horse supplements
  • order gifts for a few people (lots of upcoming birthdays)
  • have one of the boys pick up a few things at the grocery store
  • work with horses - if it isn't raining
  • dinner: veggie burgers & fries
  • watch The Haunting of Hill House tonight

Good morning!  DH and I had a lovely day yesterday - went out to a German beer garden, then to a Greek festival, then to a minor league baseball game.  I'm sort of looking forward to a quiet day today.  DH leaves around noon for a business trip.

-coffee
-remind DH of the things he has to do before he leaves
-vaccuum and mop the downstairs, vaccuum the upstairs
-workout (kickboxing once DH leaves)
-read and relax
-stand over DS18 while he writes a letter to our electrician asking about working for him this summer as an intern
-make sure DS18 has clean uniforms for school
-make sure DS18 goes to Publix to get things he wants for lunch for the week
-dinner (made a roast beef yesterday that people can eat at their leisure today)

Stayed home from church.  Snapped at ds when he kept trying to engage me in conversation.  I just really really really need to be alone right now.

human care is done

pet care is done

medical care is done.  I'm still drinking my magnesium.

Just started the dishwasher that somehow was loaded yesterday but never run.

Helping dd1 pack up and load the car. I am driving with her halfway to her friend’s house in MI.

She is going to stay there for a couple of days and then head home.

I will be home late tomorrow.

Good afternoon!

We've been to church and a picnic, returned my mom's car and had a snack.

Dinner is sandwiches or frozen pizza, so no work for me.

To do:

Think about this week's schedule

Find a rub or marinade recipe for flank steak. Put chx thighs into teriyaki marinade.

Read and relax. Listening to the rain is restful.

I got pizzas from the wood-fired pizza truck for dinner.
