Shampoo that makes hair smell really good :)

My husband really dislikes perfume. I have never, ever found one he enjoys in 20+ years together. However--he has liked the scent of some of my shampoos and my freshly washed hair in general.

I love nice-smelling things and love to smell nice! If you know of a shampoo that has a long-lasting, pleasant scent, please share! It needs to be cruelty-free and color-safe, but if you don't know whether or not it is, don't worry, I'll check it out.

We had bought this one for DD instead of "baby shampoo." I'd been shampoo-free for about 7 years until meeting that shampoo. I've tried 2 different shampoos after and had been severely disappointed. (one of them was apothocare and one was herbal essences - purchased because I thought I had remembered liking the smell of it - there's really no lingering smell)

We have the swimming variety of Babo brand shampoo, and the smell is good, and lingers, but it smells like bubble gum or banana - or banana bubble gum? LOL! I believe it was the cucumber aloe scent

Lush makes some wonderful round bar shampoos. My favorite is lemony Montalbano. They’re supposed to last a long time but I blow through probably two per month. It gives me an excuse to go in and check out everything else.

You could try a hair serum like BioSilk.  It smells wonderful, and the scent lasts a couple days.  You only use a tiny bit, so a bottle lasts forever.  Added bonus, it makes your hair shiny and strong!

I’m loving Not Soap Radio in lemon sugar. Cruelty and icky stuff free and has a clean, yummy scent. The lotion is awesome too—the scent is subtle and lasts a long time.

Aveda's Rosemary-Mint shampoo is my favorite. I like their Shampure fragrance too, but that one seems to get mixed reviews about the fragrance. You either love it or hate it.

We use the unscented version of this which has left a wonderful, clean hair smell.  (There are some negative comments re “coco sulfate) but environment working group lists it as safety level 1 (best).  It also comes in peppermint and argan.  I believe it to be cruelty free, safe for color hair , ...  doesn’t add plastic bottles to environment, works well, lasts well , in my family’s experience.

Matrix Biologe Shampoo/Conditioner.  I use Hydrosource for dry hair and detangling solution for conditioner.  Kids and DH always say my hair smells great.  Not sure if it ticks all your other boxes.
