Well, March 31 was a big deadline, and I think I got everything done, so I hope I can spend Monday tying up loose ends, filing, and getting a start on the next things.

  • Kid wants to get up and study at 5:45.
  • Should wake Kid 2 up a bit early also.
  • Kids ready & off to school.
  • Figure out this week's schedule - track is starting.
  • Text to driver re this week's schedule.
  • Make appointments - Chiropractor / dentist.
  • Kitchen, bathrooms, clutter.
  • Work work work.
  • All of the laundry.  (I did only 1 small load over the weekend.)
  • Bills.
  • FedEx stop.
  • Calendar.
  • Filing.
  • Yoga / exercise.  (Need to counteract the chips I've been eating.)
  • A bit of reading.
  • Review kids' homework essays.
  • Check out the AHG badges and see if we can finish any by Thursday.
  • Kids' homework, music practice.
  • Read-aloud(s).
  • Whatever else gets done.

Looked at schedule and dd13 doesn’t have play practice today! One thing off my list already. Now I need to add what else I forgot. 😝

Morning, all!  Another round of insomnia, although this time I think pain related.  I was getting out of dh's car at church, twisted as I planted my feet, pulled something along my hip.  This getting older might suck!  It's throbbing pretty awful, just in time for back to work.  Oh, well...

To do:

coffee, Advil, devotional

quick review of lesson plan

pack lunch

organize paperwork for meeting with financial planner

work

meet with planner, drive home in major traffic

grill something for dinner (it's been in the mid to high 80s this week, far cry from the cold and rainy)

submit dd's final set of math tests

gym?  if I can bear it...

renew library books online

read for 52 week challenge

Have a great day!

Good morning!

Happy April! I got to bed early last night and am actually feeling awake and ready to tackle.

  • school w/dd (she's taking her philosophy exam, so there will be a proctor here)
  • remind dh about getting some tax things together
  • office work (beginning of the month things, email,  budgeting & finance, go over some advertising)
  • outside work (keep chipping away at the winter cleanup - there is still a thick layer of ice in some areas of the paddocks & I'm hoping it will melt this week)
  • dust main floor and upstairs, vacuum steps
  • put away clean towels
  • make muffins
  • order microgreens seeds
  • give dogs Heartgard (although I think I might have to pick some more up from the vet)
  • read
  • dinner: arroz con pollo, whole food plant based style

Good morning!

I made breakfast for dd before she left for a simulation at school. She'll be back for lunch and then back to school for a study group.

I plan to study for my physics class (last one coming up!). I have not enjoyed this as much as I remember liking it in high school and college. I think I actually prefer teaching chemistry.

Hope you all have a great day!

Good morning!  Regular Monday here, although it is pretty cold.

-coffee
-DS17 off to school
-get DS14 situated with school

-workout (circuit workout)
-work on getting paperwork together for homeschooling in SC (this process is more involved than in FL - I have to "prove" that his honors classes are indeed honors classes with detailed descriptions of how they go above and beyond state standards - this is going to be a real PITA)
-laundry DONE: 2
-vacuum downstairs, straighten up kitchen
-check up on DS14's progress throughout the day
-early dinner (salmon, potato, green beans - at 5 pm)
-work gate and concessions at DS17's baseball game tonight
-read some after the game (at least 4 books behind in 52 week challenge)

Ugh, I forgot to make sure my kid has clothes for track practice today.  So I need to drive them up there around 3pm - when the stupid pickup line is blocking the world.

Also, I signed my kid up for a new Tuesday gymnastics class starting tomorrow.  Obviously I'm a glutton for punishment.  (I did not realize that this was a 2.5 hour class until after I hit the button.)  Well ... it can't be worse than last season.  She can do her homework before class.

I hardly slept at all overnight.  I should probably snag a nap.

Good morning! dd2 is off to school. She has a ton of work to squeeze in before she leaves again on Thursday night for an OV. ds3 should be rolling out of bed soon- he has a ton of work before he leaves Thursday night for a tennis tournament. Yes, you read that right- no kids Friday or Saturday! Pretty sure this has never happened before.

Today is a regular Monday, with extra clean up since I was gone all day yesterday.

  • coffee/paper
  • write
  • school with ds3
  • check bank/bills
  • laundry
  • kitchen/other chores
  • read a little
  • ds3 to tennis
  • online research/library?
  • pick up ds3
  • dinner with everyone

Have a great day!

human care done

pet care done-  didn't just do my normal litter box scooping but totally changed out the litter today.  Oh - and I also pooper-scooped the path because our old dog no longer wants to go off of the beaten path to do her business.

medical care done

CPap disinfected

two things from my counter of doom put away

dishwasher rebooted

dance of the garbage cans done

brought up new paper towels.  It's amazing how much I put off little things like this!

I am on a roll today!  I am also pooped out at 10 am. . .    now to get ready to leave for coffee shop school.

Also done:

two loads of laundry in process (dd14 is responsible for one)

dishwasher unloaded (kids) and refilled (everyone) and started (me)

In other news, dd13 got six chicks on Saturday.  One of them was dead this morning when she checked on them.  She said she thought it was sickly and might’ve needed quarantining.  😬. I hope it wasn’t actually sick.

Dd came home for lunch and is at school.

I've done a load of laundry, watched some tv, and picked out labs for the physics class, pending me being able to get all the equipment necessary. My neighbor is an electrical engineer, so I already asked him if I need help if I could see what he could do for me.

Dd1 picked up her graduation robes!! It's getting real now.

I have read some, paid a couple of bills, checked the quickly dwindling bank balance for automatic withdrawals, and told ds3 that he has to read/listen to Agamemnon at least twice, probably three times. The good thing about audiobooks is that I know exactly how long it takes for him to get through them.

Next up:

  • kitchen
  • clean off table
  • read/print out some writing helps
  • handwork
  • ds3 to tennis

Did barn chores for an hour and let the horses out into the back pasture to goof around. They are antsy for grass to start growing.

Our neighbor's field in the valley down below us is full of baby calves. So adorable - I love cows!

does ds3 mean your 3rd ds or do you have a very advanced 3 year old?

I GRADED DD14’s Spanish tests and came to an understanding (somewhat) of how to move forward! 🎉

I have also worked one-on-one with each of my children on SOMETHING.

This is a red-letter day!

Now to try to check something else off the list before I head in to work.

I got more done today than I usually do, but I still have to get up super early in the morning to prep my co op classes.
