gingersmom
My daughter is graduating with her BSN in nursing. She will be living a plane ride away from us. She doesn't need work clothes (or stethoscope or anything for job). I don't want to do jewelry or luggage or anything like that. I was thinking of a meal subscription service. She's gluten free and not really into cooking plus I'm not sure if its more appropriate for a birthday gift. Any ideas?
wintermom
Not sure how much you want to spend, but perhaps a plane ticket to a vacation destination if she likes to travel. The meal service sounds great, too. I would love that as someone why doesn't really care for cooking. 😉
gardenmom5
i think the meal subscription sounds great. dh plans on paying off 1ds's car, and we have yet to come up with something for 2ds.
Beth S
I'm "boring" . . . but I always ask the kids for gift suggestions so that our gift is in line with her wishes. My son gives great "surprise" gifts! I do not.

What are her out-of-work passions? Can you Google her new city and get some gift cards for popular local restaurants and attractions? Or art work representing her city? Or a T-shirt/sweatshirt from her city?
