Alicia64
Hi Everyone, Yes, I got the shot, but the kids and I both came down w/ a flu anyhow. At this point I'm bored, but still feel blah. I'm also really blue -- which isn't something normal for me. I've watched Mrs. Maisel -- 5 stars!! Also Grace & Frankie -- also love!! Kimmie Schmidt too. The first season was cute. Do have you have any suggestions? We have Netflix and Amazon Prime. TIA! Alley
Chris in VA
I heard Bird Box is good. Handmaid's Tale if adult stuff is ok and you can do a free trial of Hulu. It won't lift your spirits but it is absorbing enough that you will forget your surroundings. The Office is a favorite here. Have you seen Stranger Things?

JIN MOUSA
Lately I've been rewatching Chuck (Prime) and Great British Baking Show (Netflix) - both light-hearted fun, not a lot of thinking required.

Alley I don't have any recommendations, but just wanted to say that I hope you feel better soon. I had the flu last spring and felt so depressed for a few weeks afterward - it was awful! I read that post-flu depression is common because your serotonin levels become depleted while your body is fighting the virus. 1

I just believe how long this has hung on. And, yes, I'm really down. Thank you for sending encouragement -- I needed it big-time! PoisonHemlock
We loved Death In Paradise, on Netflix. It's a charming show, and we thought the mysteries were pretty good. I hope you all get to feeling better VERY soon!
scrapbookbuzz
Well the good news is you're close to the upswing and within the next week should really start to feel better! Yay! Netflix: Shetland, Father Brown Amazon Prime: Chuck, Psych, The Unit abc.com: Whiskey Cavalier cbs.com: NCIS (also on Netlfix) Those are some that I like. YMMV. Kanin
Sorry you're feeling blue. I bet there are ways to raise your serotonin level...? In any case, I hope you start feeling better ASAP! Some favs: Kim's Convenience (Netflix) Corner Gas (Netflix), a Canadian sitcom The IT Crowd (classic British comedy) Father Ted (Irish comedy), Amazon Prime
Petrichor
Merlin (amazon) fantastic beasts (library?) Bird box was interesting (probably wouldn't watch with kids around though) Death in Paradise (netflix) Monk, House, Psych, Lie to Me, Grimm, Once Upon a Time (all things I have watched over and over and over again) Dr. Who (gets it's own line) Documentaries about the plague/the black death are a favorite of mine when I'm sick and unwilling to leave my bed 😄 Hope you feel better soon ((hugs))
