wendyroo
Three quarters of my children now officially have psych diagnoses. The almost 10 year old has ASD, ADD and anxiety. The almost 8 year old has ODD, ADHD and anxiety. Now the almost 6 year old has a diagnosis of ADHD...and I would not be surprised if we add anxiety in the coming years. On one hand, I am glad for the diagnosis and the door it opens to medication. OTOH, WHY?!?! Why does everything have to be this hard? 😔 1
PeterPan
Well on the plus side, the straight ADHD may turn out to be the easiest of the three boys. My dd definitely was easier than my ds. My ds is a joy, sure, but my dd was way easier and more what you thought of as homeschooling. Well congrats on the evals and the possibility of medication. Are you gonna eat something special or go soak in a hot tub? LOL
kbutton
I am so sorry that you have so much on your parenting plate. You are doing a great job, but I know it wears. I am glad you have this information to open doors and to validate your experience.
Storygirl
I'm sorry, Wendy. I hope that having a diagnosis helps in some ways. I know that every day is more than hard. I also know that your children are blessed to have you for a mother.
