It's 3am and I'm tired, but I have some things I should do before I sleep ....  So I will probably go get more coffee and procrastinate a bit and then get to it.

  • Working in the wee hours.  Colleagues in opposite time zone are waiting for info from me.
  • Laundry - currently my last load is in the washer.
  • Review the kids' homework which is sitting on my bed.
  • Sleep???
  • Get the kids up and off to school.
  • Send driver the plans for this week.
  • Work work work.
  • Bills and calendar stuff.
  • Whatever I'm forgetting.
  • Kids' work - homework and test study.
  • Kid 1 to gymnastics; kid 2 cleans room?
  • Get ready for tomorrow.
  • Read-aloud?

Good morning!

Jean, I'm sorry I missed about your dd getting whiplash. Were you guys in an accident? I'm so sorry and will be praying for her recovery!

hopeistheword, I understand the online time thing. It's definitely where I am right now and the reason I'm not on here much!

This week is going to be hectic because I leave town to work at a homeschool convention. Ds flies our to Colorado while I am at the convention so he can spend spring break with his girlfriend. He'll have to get all the homework for his co-op classes done this week.

I hope you all have a great week ahead!

Amy-  there was no accident- at least not an auto accident. My dd was ice skating and fell backwards. Once her back hit the ice, her neck and head continued the motion whipping backwards smacking the ice. She is almost all better now- no more headaches and she can now turn her head but she has a few more treatments left.

Good morning!

Hope, how is your mom doing? I hope her recovery is going well!

With the boys home and helping with chores, I got to sleep in a little bit this morning - up at 6:15 instead of 5:15. So nice! The weather this week looks perfect -  a nice, long stretch of sunny days with highs in the 40s and 50s. 🌷

  • school w/dd
  • office work (get caught up on bills)
  • dust and vacuum basement & vacuum main floor
  • laundry - wash blankets
  • adjust my Chewy autoship and remember to get kitty litter
  • place a Stateline Tack order - tried to do it yesterday and their site was being all glitchy
  • groom horses and dogs - everyone is shedding
  • make almond milk & cook beans in Instant Pot - didn't get to this yesterday
  • dinner: enchiladas verdes, rice, & slaw

Good morning!  DS14 is on spring break for all his classes except AP computers so this week will be pretty easy in that regard.  My parents are still here helping get some of the outdoor landscaping and last year's fall leaves under control.

-coffee
-work around the house
-laundry
-shadow honors pre-calc and honors chem at a local co-op for next year (11:30 am)
-more work around the house
-dinner
-DS17 baseball at 7:30

Good morning!

Back into our school routine today, though our week is lighter because many of our ec's are on break.

School

Laundry!

Meal plan, then Aldi. And Publix. And Kroger.

Out to dinner with Dh for my birthday! Two nights in a row out to eat feels very luxurious!

Hopeistheword, how is your mom?

Hi Amy! Enjoy the convention!

I didn't go to sleep until after I woke the girls up and told them their homework revisions.  So about 7am.  Slept a half hour and then got them fed and out the door.  Then I went back to bed for about 4 hours.  Not really a great start to the week.

I touched base with my sister re: niece's birthday and with our driver re: this week's schedule.

I am supposed to make some payments today, but other people aren't doing their part, so they are going to be late.  So I am stressed out.

I will need to re-wash my whites since they have sat in the washer so long.

Hopefully after downing some more coffee, I will be a little more relaxed and can do a lot of work.  I got a lot done on the weekend so I should be feeling pretty good.

Dentist done:

Today’s crazy homeschooler update. At DD’s dental appointment this morning the hygienist told us in all seriousness that homeschooling was illegal in high school. Then she asked how I used the public school assigned materials. We tried to explain but I don’t think that she even began to understand our brand of craziness.

She then asked dd what language she was learning and started to talk to us in Japanese. I have to admit that I had a little bit of trouble understanding Japanese with an Indian accent. Just different than what I am used to.

Stopped in at the oral surgeon to make an appointment there for an appointment. Her wisdom teeth are coming in sideways.

Doing as much school as we can before the next appointment.
