Mom0012 Posted March 12, 2019 Share Posted March 12, 2019 (edited) My dd is self-studying for this AP exam and would like me to find someone who can evaluate her answers and give her some feedback. I don’t think it would take more than an hour a week. She does well on the multiple choice portion of the exam and often gets the correct final answers on the FRQs, but we’re not sure if her explanations/steps are in line with what the CB is looking for. Does anyone here offer this kind of service or know of someone who does? Thanks! ETA: To clarify — I am looking for someone to pay to do this work. I will have her take a look at this tomorrow and see if it clarifies things for her. Is there a prep book out there that breaks the important parts of the response down like this because we will only have access to a few actual exams? She has a prep book, but it gives pretty wordy answers which are difficult to match up with her different wordy answers. Lol! There was only slight changes in the Calculus BC scope in 2017. My kid use Barrons for only the MCQs and use the past year FRQs from CollegeBoard because the scoring guidelines are rather easy to follow. He only did two or three years worth of past year FRQs. We find the student response and scoring commentary useful as the grader use actual student samples for commenting.
