Monica_in_Switzerland
This will be for my dd's 10th. She wants to do a movie party and I'm looking for super funny movies that would be appropriate down to age 7 or so. We're ok with a little slapstick violence. I was looking at Ella Enchanted, but would also enjoy suggestions that don't have a strong romance storyline.
Bluegoat
I was going to suggest Goonies as well.
alisoncooks
Goonies has a lot of profanity so gauge that for your family. Some suggestions: Shrek, Peter Rabbit (actually quite funny and not cutesy at all), Kung Fu Panda, The Sandlot. We love Alexander & the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.

mmasc
My kids were just watching Daddy Day Care the other day and apparently found it to be hilarious. I think The Cat in the Hat with Mike Meyers is really funny, but there are a couple of things that could be questionable, although I found the implied stuff was over my kids’ heads. Storygirl
Paddington is fun, though the villain wants to stuff Paddington, which can be kind of creepy for younger children. Paddington 2 is really fun, as well. I loved these more than I expected to. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul was more fun that I expected, though there is a bit of gross humor, and the main character is a boy.

busymama7
The original Herbie movies are a big hit here. We like the newer one too but the old ones are just good clean fun.

Ali in OR
Ramona and Beezus! Love that movie. We like Enchanted a lot too (not the same as Ella Enchanted).
Chris in VA
The Parent Trap? But not if anyone is from a family with divorce. I like the old one better. Love Nim's Island, but it isn't really funny. I might go for an older movie not everyone has seen.
milovany
We all absolutely love "The Long Long Trailer" with Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. True, clean laugh out loud fun.

teachermom2834
I really liked Lego Batman and Lego Ninjago. I was actually surprised how much I liked Batman when we went for my ds birthday. Then Ninjago came out on my birthday so we went to see it because I liked Batman so much. I usually do not go for kids movies much at all but those movies really crack me up.
