Done: FT registration! started laundry Made coffee, put bacon in the oven. Woke up dd. To do: Laundry ✅ Dd to tutorial ✅ Check with Dh about taking Ds to bball practice tonight ✅ Start dinner in the crock pot ✅ Math, piano and Bible for Ds ✅ Ds to orthodontist ✅ Haircuts for me and ✅ Writing with Ds ✅ Quick grocery trip ✅ Reserve library books! Ds to Science class ✅ Help dd stay on track with school work. Read History book, finish Henry V, read novel. Maybe listen to a Julie Bogart podcast? Dd has an awful virus, so school may not be in the plans for her today. SKL Posted January 15, 2019 Share Posted January 15, 2019 Well, I had visions of sneaking a nap after waking the kids up this morning. But both girls woke up with period leaks all the way through their bedclothes this morning. It was a first for both of them - they haven't been menstruating that long and it has never been this heavy before, so none of us knew to be that prepared. Anyhoo, it meant my morning was not destined to be a lazy one. The load of bedding is now in the dryer. Other than that ... Up in the wee hours doing laundry & stuff (for kids' gym clothes to be ready). Slept maybe 4-5 hours? Not enough, but better than recent nights. Kids up & ready & off to school. Packed the gym stuff and washed 2 more loads of laundry. Fed the critters. Cleaned the kitchen, bathrooms, and some clutter. Caught up on emails, social media, news. To do: Lots of work, including at least one conference call, yuck. Arrange to swap date for kids' acolyting in church, since they also have to play in the band at the same time. Yoga, reading. Finish the laundry, re-make the beds. Pay taxes. Other bills. Chiropractor appointment. Kids' stuff (driver will drive them for their activities). Calendar. Get ready for tomorrow school stuff. It is a regular Tuesday, with a grocery store run today. Selkie Posted January 15, 2019 Share Posted January 15, 2019 Busy day here. Had our vet appt. - all went well. Got coffee with two of the kids. Phone got fixed. The boys painted, did some drywall repairs, and are finishing up the trim on the main floor. I medicated dd's horse, who was very well behaved. Did a huge cleanup and reorganization of the pantry, which took a couple hours since it is a pretty big pantry. Going to do evening horse chores now and then mop the mudroom.
