Year in Review Day 8

Skills gained (or deepened) this year:

I have learned a ton in anatomy this semester. It's been all-consuming but I'm glad for the knowledge and how I'll get to apply it in the future.

My Arabic is coming back.  I haven’t had the time to spend on it that I’d like to because of settling in to our new home and the holidays, but after school starts again in January I’ll be able to focus more on it.

I’ve also learned a lot about trapping rats and where they hang out in my apartment which isn’t something I really wanted to know.  And ds learned that sticky traps are really very sticky when he accidentally put his phone down on one.

I opened an Ameritrade account and learned how to sometimes made a money-making move, and other times, kick myself for the move I made two weeks ago, two days ago, two hours ago...

Stock timing is an exercise in regrets. 😄

I learned how to knit.  I’ve cross-stitched for ages but never learned to knit until last month.

Since I'm not pregnant and don't have a newborn I've jumped into some of my kids' activities--I'm taking Irish dance and karate lessons and enjoying them, though I'm reminded every class how different a forty year old body is from a twenty year old one 😄
