This will be her first year taking live online courses (other than one-on-one online Spanish courses), so reviews of those who've gone before us would be helpful. It's time to move on from solely mom-led courses as science is not my strength and we're butting heads regularly. DD is very interested in science, a diligent student, but a little nervous about being required to talk in class. I think she'd be well-suited to a course that's academically challenging but not overwhelming. We tried working through BJU's Life Science but got bogged down when complex topics were covered at a break-neck pace (ex: cellular respiration). Has anyone had a child that took this course? Any thoughts you'd like to share on the course or on WHA in general? Thank you! DD is taking their Earth Science class this fall and seems to really enjoy it. She has two or more labs each month, plenty of quizzes, and monthly tests. There is LOTS of communication from the school, more than I need really, but the platform is easy to navigate for both of us.
