My husband got this for his sister--she likes quirky things like this and said she and the neighbor kids are having fun with it.  ?

I bought my grown daughter this It's Different Every Day Desk Calendar last year and it has been a big hit all year for her---and her fellow workers.  News of its fun quirkiness spread throughout her company and she has people from other departments dropping by just to see what silliness there is that day.  Not for the serious-minded but light-of-heart.

If I could log on and post on my computer I would share a link, but since I can't figure out how to do so on the iPad I must simply recommend ya'all go to. Www.esty.com/shop/khallion  and look down for her best-selling She Series Collage, version one.  Grid of nine strong female characters from literature and media, including Rey, Leia, Anne Shirley, Mulan, Buffy, Wonder Woman and more, each with a single word ( can you figure which of the women I list have the words "resist, imagine, wonder, honor, rebel" etc by them?  I bought one of these and framed it for my daughter.  These are all drawn images, think classy comic book style.  If someone more clever then I could post a link.....

When our children's librarian moved away, 3 years ago, we bought her this mug (and some banned books socks).  She loved the mug -- for us, it was a reminder of the many, many times we visited the library in search of "any new dragon books?" for my dragon-obsessed child. ?

Those notebooks are amazing.  Ds would LOVE those.  I found one on amazon that actually lists "enemy's list" and have to get it for him.

I thought this book looked like a fun idea:  https://www.amazon.com/Pterodactyl-Worst-Alphabet-Book-Ever/dp/1492674311

"Have you ever heard of Plato, Aristotle, Socrates? Morons."

LOL! Love that tee!

Lol!  Both of my dc have told me that at college most of their friends quote The Princess Bride... and Veggie Tales.  Despite differences in socio-economic status, race, majors, and even current religious beliefs, somehow they all found each other.  ?

I found these great books of little engineering projects while i was on a trip this summer, here is the website - you can order the books.  I bought one and they are really fun.

Also, for dd13 I am giving her this choir binder with her name engraved.  It is kind of a special gift for a budding musician - there are also versions for those who play instruments.  they are really nice because they are easy to hold open. I ordered hers at musicfolder.com, I suspect there are also American companies that do the same thing.

I agree!  That does look like fun.

Along the same line is this t-shirt:

The word is intended to be pronounced in the same way (/fɪʃ/), using these sounds:

Target has fun "12 Days of _______" socks.  They come in a box and each day you pop open a little door and get a pair of socks. I was particularly drawn to the Harry Potter ones, but I think they also had Star Wars, Game of Thrones, and generic Christmas.

I just bought the Star Wars socks this morning.  Target also has $10 off a $40 clothes purchase right now and the socks are included in the deal.

That's good to know, Debbi; I've seen Telestrations around but have never played it.  (I've actually seen used copies not infrequently at local thrift stores.)
