Master Books Chemistry

Recommended Posts

I know that Master Books Chemistry for high school if fairly new, but I was hoping to find some reviews for it. Is anyone using it? How is it going?

I have a slightly math phobic daughter who will likely not be a STEM major. I own the 2nd edition of Apologia chemistry, but don't think it will be a good fit for her. I'm considering Friendly Chemistry, but am curious about Master Books. I'd prefer something that teaches directly to the student that isn't too heavy on math. The lab supplies for Master Books is $$$ so that's a definite negative. Any other thoughts out there? I'm just looking for something high school credit worthy, to cover the basics of chemistry for my college-bound, non science kid.
