May as well get this started as we're talking about shopping.  :)  Sisters weekend is coming up soon and that's when I really get out shopping for the whole weekend.

This is my kids favorite part of their gifts, I think,--seeing what I come up with.  So any ideas ladies?  Thanks!

Mug cake mixes. You can make your own, but they also now sell packs that only require water while most of the homemade ones I've seen need egg and oil. We taste-tested a couple and preferred Duncan Hines over the Betty Crocker or Dr. Oetker. Haven't tried the Ghiradelli yet, but bet it's good. I'm planning on getting some for my college-age daughter's stocking, but may do some for us as well. Beats having a whole cake around to tempt us or if we want different desserts. https://duncanhines.com/products/perfect-size-for-one/

If you have a camper, REI had a nice camping/backpacking spice holder https://www.rei.com/product/784120/gsi-outdoors-spice-rack. We also saw the Don't Die Out There pack of playing cards with safety information https://www.rei.com/product/128520/mountaineers-books-dont-die-out-there-card-deck.

Candy

Nuts/snacks/jerky

socks (fun, fuzzy, or regular)

scented liquid soap

shower poof

hair ties

Beauty blender

car air freshener

deodorant

toothbrushes

small legos

inexpensive clothes (I've put in fleece leggings that I got on clearance, this year I am putting in a tank top I got on clearance)

Christmas ornaments

little packs of tissues

hand sanitizer

travel size stuff - this year I got small bottles of the Downy wrinkle release and I break up the Target beauty box items and spread them out

tea

hot chocolate packets

fun pens/pencils

lottery tickets

lotions

bodywash

facial cleansing wipes

antibacterial hand wipes (my sons travel and use these on the plane to wipe down the armrests and trays)

protein bars

puzzle books (crossword puzzles or sudoku)

Light gloves

Turbie twist

I'll think of more.  Stockings are easy for me but the gifts are tough!

I just do food treats, like a Pringles can to help the stocking stand up.
You all are much more creative . . . and I'm glad for the suggestions!  ?

I still get their favorites--the pop tarts and Jif peanut butter I wouldn't buy when they were younger. lol

For many years, I gave my kids and my sister's kids candy coated sunflower seeds from Trader Joes, but they haven't had them the last couple years.  The kids miss them.

I'll brainstorm in this post, since I know I can't be alone.

I did makeup brushes for the girls last year

Makeup remover wipes

winter or dress scarf

flat multi- tool

Looking forward to arts and craft shows: lotion bars, small makeup bags, necklaces

jerky

t-shirts

little puzzles or games

magazine

deck of cards

things for cleaning/polishing a car

car wash gift card

pillow case with fabrics relating to their hobbies, etc.

More gift ideas from the past: Camping gear or hunting items. Stuff for individual sports: tennis racket, snow shoes or skis, etc. Smaller things for these activities. Membership to Anytime Fitness or whatever you have Workout clothes Set of towels or sheets, bedding or new pillow. Fast food gift cards, movies or DVD player

I just bought candy coated sunflower seeds from Trader Joe's last month, so hope is not lost!! I'd never seen them before (it was my first time shopping there), and we liked them a lot.
