crazyforlatin
Does that mean I need to buy an embosser and customize it for our homeschool name?
Lori D.
I'm assuming this is for sending in a transcript for a college?? If so, first speak directly to the college to find out what their requirements for homeschoolers are -- they may waive this requirement or have a different process for submitting homeschool transcripts that does not require a seal. Whether an official seal is needed or not, be sure to include the words "official transcript" in the title or heading of the transcript. You might try having the transcript notarized as a form of official seal. Design your transcript with a box under or beside your administrator signature and have a notary put their seal and signature there, near your admin. signature. That works for some schools as an official seal. If needing the seal for sealing the envelope to show that the transcript has not been tampered with, using a generic slogan pre-embossed foil seal $8-$15 might work: like this, or this, or this. Here's a recent thread on this same topic: "How to meet this transcript requirement?" Edited September 29, 2018 by Lori D.
katilac
If they list a watermark as an alternative, that is easy to do in many free programs.
crazyforlatin
Thanks! This is still for a couple of high school programs, one of which needs paper transcript, while the others seem to need an uploaded version. With an upload, how would I go about making sure it's official and that the student didn't tamper with it?
