We are on part 3 of our "get this house out of the 80s" project.  This one was a tad unanticipated.  Just after we had finished all of our projects before dd's graduation party this summer, some tiles started falling off the wall in our main shower.  We knew that it needed some attention, but I had hoped it would be a couple years.  So, we had our favorite handy man give us an estimate and the to-do list is growing.  We are getting a whole new tub and tile job and we decided to replace the floor tiles due to some cracks and damage (and it is a dusty beige/pink color.)  The room is a bright sunny yellow.  We have white cabinets.  I am thinking I will just go with white subway tiles in the tub/shower.  This is not a large fancy house where we would go with some super fancy tile job.  But I need to decide what to do on the floor.  I need low maintenance and definitely water friendly ... so no wood, not ever!!  Any ideas?
