Tina
I had a tooth pulled a number of months ago. Took longer than usual to heal. Month or to after it closed, the next tooth had an infection in the gum line. Cleared up with Propolis, hydrogen peroxide rinse, and staying away from sugar. Was fine for a few months, then I did the same thing and it 'cleared up' again. Hit me again this weekend, and now bottom tooth is irritated too. Any ideas? Ethel Mertz
Honestly, I'd go to the dentist. I had a similar infection and needed two courses of strong antibiotics to treat it.
TechWife
I think a trip to the dentist is in order.
maize
If there is puss it could be an abscessed tooth. In any case you want to see a dentist.
umsami
I would probably do a warm salt water rinse a few times per day before I could get to the dentist. I had my wisdom teeth out in my late 40s. I had issues with healing and needed a special medicated mouthwash plus abx.
J-rap
It sounds like an infection is bouncing around. I'd go back to the dentist!
Tina
Went to the dentist. Turns out the tooth under the crown has a crack. Got my drugs for the short term, but need to make a plan for long term. sigh. big bucks. :(
