Joanne
Earlier this year, there was a link to this art program: http://www.getinvolvedineducation.com/pdfs/For-Program-Managers/Meet-the-Masters-Program-Manual.pdf It's not to teach art, but to teach about the masters of art throughout history. I'm using the "whole" package, starting all my kids with the kindergarten level. It's not too simple and all of my students love this part of our school this year. I'm using it as a vehicle to teach note taking. I print a copy of each each for each student, but do not give the bio info until after I've lectured about it and seen that they've taken developmentally able notes. If you haven't already seen it and are looking for a fine art/art appreciation/art history component to your homeschool, this might hit the mark.
