Your best remedy for mosquito bites

Some of my kids react badly to mosquito bites, so we've tried everything!!  Recently, my dd was babysitting and that mom gave her Sarna for her itchy, swollen bites and it worked great.  We bought some at WalMart.  It was located by the other anti-itch stuff, but it was waaaay on the top shelf.  it's pretty pricey, but that's fine with me as long as I know the stuff actually works!

Sting-eeze is at Walmart, in the camping section, not the first aid section and works well. It has something in it that numbs it right away, and then a longer acting ingredient too I think. I also have found cortisone cream that has menthol in it, for the same effect. Plus an oral antihistamine if really covered in bites, for a few days.

Another vote for Sting-Eze. Bites on me used to swell up to almost softball size under my skin. It was horrible. Sting-Eze was the only relief I could find. As Katie said, it's in the camping section, I think usually hanging on a hook. It's a bright yellow and green plastic bottle.
