Sebastian (a lady)
I watched a webinar by a counselor from Compass Prep, which does test prep services. I thought a lot of what he had to say was interesting and useful. In particular I liked the roughly 100 page free guide on tests and testing, which compares tests, discusses college policies on them, and has some suggestions for approaching the various sections. http://downloads.compassprep.com/compass_guide_to_admission_testing_2017-2018.pdf
Sebastian (a lady)
One thing from the video I thought was interesting was his statement that a realistic goal for test prep was to close 1/2 of the gap between the student's initial percentile and 99th percentile. His point being that a student who started at the 50th percentile might well improve up to the 75th, but that a student who started at 90th percentile might work just as hard to move to the 95th. And that Endless Prep does not equal Endless Improvement. Video
