Jen500 Posted May 31, 2018 Share Posted May 31, 2018 ds13's coach was going to have a very informal sports camp this week from 9am-5,pm 4 days, $175. The first day was cancelled because holiday/weather. My son ended up going for 1 day for 3 hours. (The coach had the camp for only 3 hours that day). I've known the coach for a while and I know he'll just accept whatever payment I give him and I want to be fair. My son enjoyed the 3 hours he spent because he got a lot out of it as there was only one other boy there. This coach usually charges $20-30 for a 90 minute training session with 1-4 kids. Annie G Posted May 31, 2018 Share Posted May 31, 2018 Dividing the full rate by the number of hours the entire camp was supposed to run gives you about $5.50 an hour. I’d double that hourly rate and pay for three hours. That seems to be fair.
