Favorite recipe websites?

I'm annoyed with recipe websites these days!  Especially on tablets.  Why must you give me a thumbnail picture and cut off title/description?  Why do I need to scroll, scroll, scroll to find the pertinent information?  Why must there be hundreds of <any dish> hits?  And then when I try to sort by ratings, I get something that's been reviewed by 2 people, related to the person who submitted it.  Or I get 30 video results.

The last time I tried allrecipes, they absolutely refused to consider my "exclude ingredients" list and kept giving me recipes that included canned soup.  I wound up winging it because it was no help to me at all.

I've been cooking a lot from Damn Delicious lately.  Simply Recipes is a long-time favorite.  Torey Avey has some interesting recipes.

Martha Stewart, Epicurious, The Splendid Table, Eating Well are also reliable when I want a recipe to work and don't want to scroll through a billion photos of butter melting and paragraphs of inane chitchat to get to it.

Budget Bytes, Simply Recipes, and Damn Delicious are the ones I use the most.

It’s not a website, but we have the Weber Greatest Hits grilling cookbook and use that one a lot during the summer. I can’t stand a lot of summer dishes (like potato, bean, or pasta salads), but there’s a grilled new potato salad recipe in there that is delicious.

The Kitchn has been my long time go-to for new recipes: https://www.thekitchn.com/

Someone posted a recipe from We Call Him Yes! Chef here and the recipes I've tried so far from here have been keepers. https://callhimyeschef.com/

I have found some great recipes in David Lebovitz's blog, but I like it as much for the reading about his culinary adventures. https://www.davidlebovitz.com/page/2/

I also like food network...But I usually only use recipes from Alton Brown and InA garten

Mel's Korean Beef is sooo yummy! It's our new fave.

Budget Bytes is my go-to, that I use MANY recipes from.

I also use a variety of other sites (though none as much as Budget Bytes). The Lemon Bowl had great, flavorful ethnic recipes. Her Lebanese Chicken Tawook is yummy!

I use Genius Kitchen sometimes.

Can't wait to check out Lemon Bowl!
