Postpartum question

I’m a few weeks away from having this baby and I want to think about some support for my tummy afterward. I hate how bad my back hurts for the first few weeks afterward. And I’d love something that makes me look less saggy and lumpy under t-shirts.

Any suggestions?

I got a wrap thing from amazon and it was fine. It did nothing for the horrible post partum back pain- I think it's unrelated to the pooch- but it did help me feel more like myself and felt more secure for a while. I wouldn't buy one again, though, because I really only wanted it for about 1-2 weeks.

I think the back pain was from labor, sleeping funky, and using and abusing different muscles while nursing and holding the baby.

Back in the olden days......  my oldest is in her 30's, but when she was born, my mom took a wide cloth and fastened it tightly around my mid-section. Oh, it felt great to have that support.  My second pregnancy was twins, and I'm not sure if I could have even stood up without that cloth holding me together! PP have talked about a product that you can purchase, but the idea has been around for a long, long time (my grandma did it for my mom, and my mom is now 96)  and if you don't feel like spending the money, a piece of fabric and some large safety pins work as well.  ?
