gardenmom5
and there was a time I never thought this would happen. 2ds came and started talking to me about retaking some classes to up his gpa. not just "talking", but seriously laying it out how to do it and which would fit better. classes from back when he really didn't care, and before he decided what he'd do. he wants to up his gpa because he wants to apply to our local uni's school of business grad school. something specialized. he's taking initiative - he cares! (where's my swooning emoji? -or my toe tapping one??) It's nice to have things go right sometimes.

lynn
That's great. Sometimes it takes young adults a while to figure out their future path and when they do it's such a relief.
marbel
Happy to read this. I have a late-blooming kid and it can be so discouraging. So always happy to see some good news.

klmama
That's great that he's decided to do that! Also, it's good that he didn't retake the courses back when he didn't really care, as he might have done just as poorly and then lost the opportunity to retake (assuming the college only would let him retake a course once).
