Accountability Thread 5/20-5/26

Recommended Posts

Good morning. I'm barely awake, but caffeine should fix that. There is little like a hot cup of tea on a cool, brisk spring morning with the windows open and the birds singing. Wish I had such a day, but it's already heading up to boiling point to judge by the sun filtering in through the front porch.

Today's schedule:

Caffeine

Grocery List

Mount Washmore

Revising, type in the revisions, back up everything, start editing a new chapter if I have time.

School planning

Today didn't go as planned. I got quite a few things done, but spent much of the afternoon in bed. I still don't feel well. Will be taking tomorrow as a sick day. Bring on the documentaries and free-reading and free-writing.

Good morning,

First off Critter how are you feeling? I know this weekend didn't go for me as planned either I came down with a nasty head cold and I'm recovering today.

So here's my goals:

  • Work on daily routine/schedule/plan for next term ? (I'm stressing about this as I'll be teaching 5 that are 8 and under. No independent learners yet.)
  • Clean, cook, read to kids.

Kids goals

  • Get oldest 3 to clean out desks
  • Get kids outdoors for a walk, maybe the park.
  • Independent reading/book time.
  • Maybe draw pictures we can email someone today.
  • Chores and continue to work on positive group playing. ?

Better this morning, but still sore and not right. We will take the day off from school. There are some things to do: revisions need to be in for this chapter and I need to edit, some corn that was planted too close together in the garden needs to be transplanted this evening into proper rows, plants need watering, and I have some housekeeping that needs to be done, but I'm going to take it slow and see what I can get done without killing myself.

((Critter)) gentle hugs!  My boys have decided to sleep in on this the first day of our last full week, and I'm letting them.  When they get up our schedule will be

devotional

math

latin/spelling/Greek myth

instrument practice

the bigger boy has math and his last absolute last science unit!!

Daily chores for all and I've been invited to a friend's house to discuss homeschooling with a new homeschooler and to take some of my curriculum for her look through.  So, if the weather holds, I'll do that and we have soccer practice.  I have some housekeeping a d need to think of something for dinner.
