Having read through the documentation and the "Exam Instructions", it still looks like you need to find a school to help you submit a portfolio since your student needs to have an AP Student Pack and id number. Plus they have all the materials to submit the selected pieces of artwork to be judged on quality. Dd has done AP Studio Art through the local high school for the last 2 years, but she is taking the class there.
