twinbirches
Has anyone used or seen the Imagine History series by Gander Publishing? http://ganderpublishing.com/prodcat/imagine-history.asp I know the third book is not even out yet, but I am looking for general opinions on the books and if the grade levels are flexible enough to use a year or two above or below. It is hard to tell from the limited samples, but it looks perfect for my visual learners.
HomeAgain
It looks interesting! I wish the samples were more comprehensive, because it could be a great product but the price makes me nervous to jump in without being sure.
twinbirches
In case anybody is interested, I found a blog where you can download a sample chapter from each of the three books. https://blog.ganderpublishing.com/comprehension/how-to-help-your-students-love-history/ 1
HomeAgain
Thanks for that. I think I'm going to continue with our original plan instead: hands on supplemental work with Homeschool In The Woods' Time Traveler packs.
nixpix5
This looks amazing for my ASD kiddo. He really needs a high level of visuals and I love how thought out this looks.
PeterPan
Giving this a bump here. Did anybody buy this with the sale? It's starting to haunt me, like nixpix5, that this might be really good for my ds with ASD. For him I think he'd be fine starting in with their book 1, labeled for 3rd, yes. I think he'd just grow right into the others. Does it come with a tm or any other tools? I suppose not, lol.
